A stop at our local Starbucks by a trucker, who saw our Pet Pals for adoption as he was passing through, was just the ticket for Ivy.   Marty R. of central California was smitten from the moment he laid eyes on Ivy.   She was shy with the big rig; it was scary, loud and BIG.   But Marty wanted a traveling companion and saw something in her gentle spirit and knew that everything would work out. 

 

 After being on the road with Ivy for a week, Marty called and told us our paperwork was wrong!   Ivy wasn’t a Labrador at all; she was a “Labradorable!”   .

 

Marty and Ivy have been together for over a year now and loving every minute on the road.     They stop in to see us every now and then and Marty shows us the new tricks he has taught Ivy.   So the next time you see a red big rig with a black “labradorable” riding shotgun, it could be Marty and Ivy.
